Things I Learned This Week

• VoLTE (Voice over LTE) is a technology that enables voice calls over 4G LTE networks instead of older 2G/3G systems. This allows for higher call quality, faster call setup, and the ability to use mobile data during calls. Unlike traditional voice calls that switch your phone to legacy networks, VoLTE keeps you connected on LTE, making communication more seamless and efficient. It also supports the retirement of 2G/3G networks as mobile carriers transition fully to 4G and 5G.

• 死藤水（Ayahuasca） 是南美亞馬遜原住民傳統儀式中的植物飲品，被視為與植物祖靈溝通的橋樑，能引發強烈的幻覺與擴展意識狀態，幫助使用者面對內在創傷並促進靈性療癒。傳統上需由受過訓練的「薩滿」在儀式中引導，並搭配齋戒、音樂與禁忌以確保安全。雖然 Ayahuasca 與 LSD 都屬「致幻劑」並能改變知覺，但 LSD 為合成物、偏向感官扭曲，而 Ayahuasca 結合文化、儀式與植物智慧，被視為一種神聖的靈性工具。由於其含有違禁成分 DMT，在許多國家屬於非法物質，且存在心理與生理風險，因此需謹慎面對。
