Things I Learned This Week

  • A breadcrumb trail (麵包屑導航) is a graphical control element used as a navigational aid in user interfaces and on web pages. It allows users to keep track and maintain awareness of their locations within programs, documents, or websites.
  • Kendo (劍道) & Judo (柔道): Modern Japanese martial art
  • The .DS_Store (= “Desktop Services Store”) file saves folder custom attributes in the macOS operating system.
  • Palo Alto is a city in California’s San Francisco Bay Area. It’s one of the principal cities of Silicon Valley and home to Stanford University.
  • A screenplay, or script, is a written work produced for a film, television show, or video game.
